Inks for PTFE marking

PTFE

Color dispersions, Inks and Low Noise Dispersion coating for PTFE

View

Colorant Chromatics PTFE Inks are used to stripe, code or top coat on PTFE. They can also be used on FEP and PFA.

PTFE marking inks are aqueous dispersions based on:

  • PTFE
  • Water
  • Inorganic and organic light stable pigments

Colors offered

  • 10 standard colors. Other colors available upon request.
  • All colors are heavy metal free

Colorant Chromatics PTFE striping inks have high viscosity, enabling them to stripe well on large wire diameters. For smaller diameters the viscosity should be reduced with distilled water and Colorant-Chromatics wetting agent. Refer to the datasheet for additional suggestions to reduce viscosity.

PTFE inks wet well on PTFE, FEP and PFA and should be sintered at temperatures close to the melting point of the plastic for an appropriate period of time.
