Inks for FEP marking
Colorant Chromatics FEP Inks are used to stripe, code or top coat on FEP. They can also be used on PTFE and PFA.
FEP marking inks are aqueous dispersions based on:
- FEP
- Water
- Inorganic and organic light stable pigments
Colors offered
- 10 standard colors. Other colors available upon request.
- All colors are heavy metal free
Colorant Chromatics FEP striping inks have high viscosity, enabling them to stripe well on large wire diameters. For smaller diameters the viscosity should be reduced with distilled water and Colorant Chromatics wetting agent. Refer to the datasheet for additional suggestions to reduce viscosity.
Colorant Chromatics FEP printing inks have extra high viscosity, enabling them to print well on large wire diameters. For smaller diameters dilution may be required. Refer to the datasheet for suggestions to reduce viscosity.
FEP inks wet well on FEP, PTFE and PFA and should be sintered at temperatures close to the melting point of the plastic for an appropriate period of time.
